World's Most Futuristic Clothing Company, Vollebak Appoints R/GA London as Digital Innovation Partner

Agency to help drive the next phase of relentless innovation for the experimental clothing brand 

R/GA London is pleased to announce that it has been appointed as digital innovation partner for Vollebak, the world’s most experimental clothing brand. With its innovative copper Jacket featured on the cover of Time Magazine as one of 2020’s ‘best inventions’, Vollebak uses science and technology to make the future of clothing happen faster. 

Launched in 2016, Vollebak is a British brand that designs clothing of the future using cutting-edge science and technology. The company have designed the world’s first Graphene Jacket, using the only material in the world with a Nobel Prize; created a plant and algae T-shirt that can biodegrade into worm food; designed the first jacket for deep space travel, and made a Solar Charged Puffer fit for an Arctic winter. 

In 2021, the brand is experimenting with AI, stealth technology, robotics and space exploration. To kick off this long-term partnership, R/GA’s first phase of work will be to create a world-class digital experience to showcase the brand and invite people to discover, connect and buy the future of clothing.

As part of this new partnership, R/GA will work directly with Vollebak’s founders, Steve Tidball and Nick Tidball and the team, looking to push each other's thinking in order to achieve new and innovative results for the growing brand. R/GA London’s work with Vollebak will start in April, with the aim of launching the new global site later in 2021.
