The past seven days have been full of plenty of aesthetically pleasing bits of work, writes LBB’s Natasha Patel

Appreciating beautiful pieces of art is, at times, subjective. But you’d be hard pressed to find someone who doesn’t agree that Leo Burnett KSA’s artwork for IKEA isn’t a mesmerising spectacle. Each image is a jigsaw of 60 subtly changing designs all slotted together to make for almost hypnotic viewing.

And that’s not where the artwork for this week ends. LOLA Normajean Lisbon worked with an illustrator to reimagine how some of the world’s most famous cities would look in a dystopian world in a campaign for the Portuguese Red Cross. The result is London like never seen before, shrouded in stormy seas alongside a hauntingly illuminated New York telling the stories of countless volunteers who helped the charity in 2020. Plus Chris Hemsworth injects some humour into the week and Ian Pons Jewell shows off the Apple Watch’s best features through the future of dreams, ECG and sleep.
