Two brilliantly fun spots sit side-by-side with a duo of projects that are giving unwanted products a new lease of life
We were on course for a Christmas ad-free Work of the Week for the penultimate showcase before a seasonal break, but then an intriguing, well crafted film from Spain about moustached prawns came in. Congrats LOLAMullenLowe - you made it with that gem. The rest of the crop is made up of two wildly different Chinese campaigns - one for Nike and another for Airbnb - and a Thai spot that’ll traumatise you into eating seasonal veg. There are two projects that involve giving unwanted projects a new lease of life. One is keeping broken Barbies toys out of landfill with 3D printed limbs and the other is fashioning handmade heritage tools out of guns.
