Work Editorial has announced Kid Sister as the newest addition to its roster. The editing duo are based in Los Angeles and are represented by Work Editorial globally.

Kid Sister is a two-person editing team made up of Niles Howard, a born and raised Detroiter, and Emilie Aubry, from Bordeaux, France. After the duo coincidently left their former companies at the same time - Niles was at Rock Paper Scissors in Los Angeles and Emilie was at Division in Paris - they both cut their teeth as young freelance editors in LA. When a mutual friend introduced them for a professional project, they quickly realised that they shared the same taste, style, and workflow.

From the very beginning, it was a natural, organic collaboration. Skilled at bouncing ideas off of each other, they work incredibly well, and efficiently, to produce some amazing work. After collaborating as a team for the past four years, they are now ready for the next stage of their career.

"We are beyond delighted to have found a creative family with Work." said Kid Sister. "We share the same collaborative spirit and couldn't picture ourselves anywhere else!"

Founding partner, Jane Dilworth, commented: “Kid Sister is an incredible duo, they work together seamlessly and have a wonderful to and fro in the edit. Individually they are brilliant and creative people and the four eyes make for some amazing pieces of work - they are also great people!"

“Kid Sister’s work ethic, hustle, and dedication to the craft make them a perfect fit with Work." added Marlo Baird, EP in Los Angeles. "As a duo and as people, we are thrilled to have them on the Work team."

Emilie and Niles are frequent clients of global brands such as Adidas, Spotify, Facebook, Amazon and Reebok, to name a few, and they have collaborated with artists like Beyoncé, Cardi B, Moses Sunmey, Paul McCartney, Post Malone and many more. Sharing the ethos of Work, they were drawn to the creative environment, the level of expertise and the production involvement and support.

Erica Thompson, EP, New York, concluded: “It’s very exciting to have Kid Sister join the Work roster as an editing duo. Their approach as a team is in sync with us all. Creative collaboration is always the priority.”

The duo are hitting the ground running at Work with a new Instagram campaign for Ogilvy NY and a beautiful piece for Facebook celebrating Black History Month, ‘You So Black’, directed by J.M Harper at Park Pictures performed by Theresa tha S.O.N.G.B.I.R.D.
