Wonder Woman 'What She Is' Receives Best in Show at Golden Trailer Awards

Cross-pacific music and sound boutique Nylon Studios composer Lydia Davies’ work on the thrilling trailer for the box office topping Warner Brothers action film Wonder Woman, “What She Is” has been awarded “Best in Show” and “Best Fantasy Adventure” at the 18th Annual Golden Trailer Awards. The sensational and sumptuous track in the action-packed trailer has helped blast the female hero-driven Marvel film to box office success, taking in over $400 million worldwide since opening on June 2, 2017. The Golden Trailer Awards is an annual awards show that honours achievements in motion picture marketing, including film trailers, posters and television advertisements.

Davies has also crafted the original music on a number of prominent film trailers, including the trailer for Walt Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, which smashed box office numbers with over $1 billion worldwide gross. Davies joined Nylon Studios in May 2017 and is focusing on original compositions for commercials, with upcoming work for AllState out of Leo Burnett Chicago.
