Community and creativity are two ‘C’s’ that the team at creative studio, Coffee & TV, hold dear, that and ‘coffee’ of course. So when motion designers, Kate Spencer and Daisy Loader, had the opportunity to share their creativity with the Panimation community they jumped at the chance.
A little about Panimation…Panimation is a multi-platform community of equality-driven women, trans and non-binary friends within the animation industry, and each week they hand over the reins of their Instagram account to their community members.
Kate, a junior motion designer at the Coffee & TV London studio, shared her Basquiat inspired graphics for McFly’s ‘God of Rock and Roll’ music video, all created in Adobe’s Procreate. She also highlighted her graffiti influenced graphics for Sky Creative’s powerful US Open titles by showcasing each graffiti tag in a stand alone video and then showcasing the final project.
Daisy, a motion designer and director at the Coffee & TV London studio, posted projects for the Premier League and The Hundred, two films that showcased her talents for collage and mixed media design. Daisy also shared her stunning cel animation work for vitamin brand Your Zooki and character animation for charity Thank and Praise.
Both artists thoroughly enjoyed the experience of taking the stage on the creative account, with Daisy commenting how 'sharing work is a good way to push through a creative block and feel inspired again’ and Kate noting how she 'loved being able to connect with other designers and share some of my favourite designs and processes of working throughout the week.’
