Women in Football has announced the addition of two new members, Monique Choudhuri and Lisa Parfitt, to its board.
Monique is managing director at Career Path Training and Consultancy Ltd and a board member of Brentford FC, while Lisa is managing director of ENGINE Sport & Brand Experience.
Monique and Lisa will join current directors Prof. Sue Bridgewater, Ben Carter, Liz Ellen, Anna Kessel, Hala Ousta, Lungi Macebo, Jo Tongue, and Chair, Ebru Köksal.
“We are delighted to add the expertise of two such outstandingly talented individuals to Women in Football,” said Ebru. “Monique and Lisa will each bring their own unique personal experiences and expertise to the board that will also help drive us forward at such an exciting time for Women in Football as an organisation, and across the industry.
“The response we have had since the launch of our industry-changing #WhatIf campaign last year has been staggering. It is a movement that continues to gather momentum and have a positive impact for girls and women globally.
"These are hugely exciting times for Women in Football. Now with Monique and Lisa on board our focus remains on driving forward to make even more of a difference."
Ebru also thanked outgoing director Jean Bevan, who is stepping down from the Women in Football board.
"Jean's input, expert advice and experience has been huge," she added. "We would like to thank Jean for everything she has done during her tenure on the board."
