With Nothing but a Zoom Cam FINCH Director Benji Weinstein Creates New Series ‘Join Meeting’

FINCH director ​Benji Weinsten has released a new comedy series that speaks to the hilarious realities of the contemporary zoom meeting​.

Born out of Weinstein’s Covid quarantine boredom,​ Join Meeting ​is a five part series about an advertising team navigating the intricacies of working together, but apart.

Says Weinsten: “I have the view that the starting point for good comedy is human truths. When the pandemic hit, we all woke up to an avalanche of new realities, with old truths. I thought it was worth exploring them.”

Made in its entirety with a budget of $53, Weinstein proves that great storytelling has no bounds and shows the possibilities of what can be achieved both in Australia as well as globally during unprecedented restrictions. Benji is saving up now for more episodes.
