Michaela Coel’s BBC series, I May Destroy You has been a phenomenon over the last six weeks. The series has been praised for its use of music throughout and Wise Music Creative was a leading partner, licensing five songs across the series.
Tracks include Italian contemporary pop from the likes of Salmo, Willie Peyote and NDG (all represented via its partnership with leading Italian industry stalwart, Sugar Music), and also The Ionian Singer’s 'Siren Song' written by Elizabeth Maconchy which features four times across the final two episodes. Check out the music Wise Music licensed below.
Continuing the theme, Wise Music have compiled a playlist featuring a handful of the incredible Italian tracks within our catalogue. From the classically driven ‘Con Te Partiro’ by the brilliant Andrea Bocelli to the upbeat, quirky ‘Tintarella di Luna’ from Italian singer Mina, the playlist has something for everyone whilst all evoking the unmistakable sounds of Italy.
