17th century Grade II listed former royal residence is set within 5,000 acres of beautiful parkland in royal parkland

FilmFixer has announced that the beautiful Cumberland Lodge in Windsor Great Park has signed with FilmFixer as the latest addition in its locations portfolio.

This 17th century Grade II listed former royal residence is set within 5,000 acres of beautiful parkland in royal parkland. This historic location features versatile and regal interiors as well as expansive, majestic exteriors.

The Lodge is situated approximately 15 minutes from Pinewood, Shepperton and Bray Studios, and featured in the filming of ‘The Kings Speech’ and the Netflix hit ‘Bridgerton’.

The main Lodge on the property features stunning interior spaces such as a grand staircase, three dining rooms, a tapestry hall, a sitting room, library, drawing room and several bedrooms. In addition to multiple corridors, basement and meeting room, there is a chapel, ante-room and bar. The Mews and Groom’s House contain 23 en suite bedrooms and a fully-fitted kitchen which are available as guest accommodation. Parking for units of all sizes can be accommodated on site.

The Lodge was built early in 1650 and the story of English domestic architecture is told through its walls and decorations. Many of the most prominent people in our national history have lived or worked here.

The magnificent grounds of Cumberland Lodge are plentiful and breathtaking. From the Grade I listed garden with its verdant borders and expansive views, to the rows of lavender bordering the private garden of Groom’s House, the woodland trails, open grassland, tree-lined avenues, and the private Wilderness Marquee, they offer limitless location possibilities.
