Why Andre Sallowicz and Simon Vicars are Moving From Colenso BBDO to adam&eve DDB

As previously reported by CB, the overachieving creative department at adam&eve DDB, London is set to bolster its ranks with the arrival of Andre Sallowicz and Simon Vicars as creative directors.

The pair, currently at Colenso BBDO, had a big year in 2016 - winning a Grand Prix and Titanium Lion at Cannes as well as two Grand Clios.

Sallowicz, previously of AlmapBBDO, joined Colenso two years ago to partner Vicars. Both can lay claim to some of BBDO's most celebrated work over the last six years.

As creatives they've won 45 Cannes Lions across Samsung, Getty Images, Burger King, Heineken, VW, SKY TV and Pedigree. DB Export Brewtroleum and Getty's 'Infinite Possibilities' made them the most awarded Creative Team in 2016 according to Cannes and The Big Won Report.

DB Export Brewtroleum infographic.jpg"Andre and I have spent our careers endeavouring to work for the best people. For us it's the single most important thing. Joining Richard and the Adam & Eve team is an exciting continuation of that strategy." says Vicars.

Says Sallowicz: "The time I spent at Colenso was amazing. I learned a lot from Nick Worthington and the entire team. Now is the right time to depart to another great agency and network. Thanks Colenso!"

The team's final contribution to Colenso has been the widely lauded adoption campaign for Pedigree. The Pedigree Child Replacement Programme has received global media coverage, featuring on prime time news, and driving an influx of applications to adopt a dog.

Says Vicars: "I've been at Colenso for six years, but really I've been at the School of Wortho. Nick's influence on my career and my work is hard to put into words. It's been a privilege. I feel very lucky. I'll miss Scotty and the best clients in the country. I won't miss the parking tickets."

The pair will start in June, working across an enviable client roster that includes John Lewis, Volkswagen and Mars.
