Who Wot Why Wins What Car? Creative Account

Independent creative agency Who Wot Why has landed the What Car? account after taking part in a competitive pitch this summer. What Car? is the UK’s biggest car-buying brand.

Sean Thompson, the agency’s co-founder, comments that, ‘We are thrilled to be working with Haymarket to support What Car?’s web innovations. We’re going to be collaborating very closely with them, so close in fact that we might call ourselves Who What Car? Why.’

The new partnership is expected to see a creative campaign launching later this year across TV, Out of Home, Digital Out of Home and radio.

Darren Pitt, What Car?’s Marketing Director, explained, ‘WWW are the perfect fit for the What Car? brand. Being a small independent agency, led by a team of 3 ECDs, meant that we got to work really closely with a small number of very senior creatives in coming up with problem solving ideas’.

Who Wot Why continue to expand in what is now its second year, having been placed 9th in Campaign’s Top Business rankings during its inaugural 12 months. The agency’s recent work includes campaigns for People’s Energy, Sky Bet, The APA and the mobile network giffgaff.
