London-based creative agency Who Wot Why has won a brief to promote fast-delivery grocery service JOKR in New York City.
The agency won the brief after a three-agency pitch and expects to continue working for the brand as it rolls out.
Ben Walker, co-founder and executive creative director of Who Wot Why, says: “This is such an exciting sector to be in and we’re chuffed to be working with JOKR, a brand which is genuinely changing the game.”
JOKR delivers a range of grocery products and more from local warehouses within 15 minutes of an order being placed via a smartphone app. Founded by ecommerce pioneer Ralf Wenzel – the entrepreneur behind Foodpanda – JOKR launched in April 2021 and is already live in seven countries, nine cities, and has already 100 hubs with orders doubling every two weeks.
The Who Wot Why campaign is based on the insight that spontaneity, which comes from being able to live in the moment, sets you free.
Tyler Trerotola, US co-founder at JOKR, says: “This new campaign neatly sums up exactly what we’re all about. JOKR’s proposition – super-fast, always-there delivery of the groceries people want and need – is all about giving shoppers the freedom to be spontaneous, something people want more than ever after the past 18 months.”
