Editor joins US jury for this year's competition

Whitehouse Post's Heidi Black Joins The Immortal Awards Jury
Whitehouse Post's Heidi Black has been announced a juror at this year's Immortal Awards, joining the US jury.

An Amarillo Texas native, Heidi began her editorial career at Whitehouse Post in 2005. Known for her comedic timing and humanistic storytelling, Black has collaborated with a range of agencies including W+K, TBWA\Chiat\Day, Deutsch, The Martin Agency, and Publicis for global brands such as Samsung, Pedigree, Discover, Bridgestone, and Amazon.

A passionate sports fan, she cut Coca Cola’s Que Sera with Johan Kramer for W+K while living in Amsterdam as well as Adidas’ House Match featuring David Beckham after her return to Los Angeles. You may have been one of many moved to tears by Google’s powerful reminder of the potential of the internet in It Gets Better, which was honored at both Cannes and AICP in 2012. In 2016, Heidi edited the hilarious Hyundai First Date starting Kevin Hart and directed by Peter Berg for Innocean. The spot debuted during the Super Bowl and was ranked #1 by USA Today’s Ad Meter. She also cut that year’s #5 spot, Hyundai’s Ryantown, starring Ryan Reynolds.

When she’s not editing, you’ll find Heidi organizing staff tennis matches, sharing cute animal videos and enjoying an afternoon rosé or 3.
