Continuing their tradition of fostering outstanding editorial talent, Whitehouse Post London proudly promotes Greg Hayes to Editor.

“I was initially attracted to Whitehouse by the roster of top talent and their global presence,” says Greg. “I’m here because of the people and the work they create. It’s a special place and I look forward to building on what I’ve started and working with more people across lots of interesting projects.”

Greg has worked with renowned directors like Giles Lovell-Wilson, Ben Charles Edwards, Anton Tammi, Rankin, and Mert and Marcus, for top brands such as Reebok, Hugo Boss, W Hotels, Nutmeg by Morrisons, and Tommy Hilfiger. Possessing an editorial style that exudes fashion, movement, and an inherent sense of cool, Greg has collaborated on promos for global artists including Stormzy, The Weeknd, Ghetts, and Gengahr, for whom he edited the UK MVA nominated promo Before Sunrise. In 2017, Greg edited many of the visuals for The Weeknd world tour which played across the globe in over 80 cities from February through December that year. Greg cut three of the eight films that were featured during the concert, each with a different theme and visuals.

“It was a really interesting project to work on, one with unique technical issues to work out” says Greg. “The screen it was projected on was a triangle that split into additional smaller shapes, so it was important to think about how to crop the images and make the footage look its best.” Greg has also lent his talents to short films including The Nightmare on Deskteeth Street directed by Dylan Holmes Williams, which was an official selection at the BFI London Film Festival in 2017.

“Greg is one of those people who loves film and film editing, he gets it, says partner/ editor John Smith ACE. “To be able to promote Greg to our editors roster is a testament to his hard work and talent. If I were looking for an ambitious and creative pair of hands to edit for me Greg would be on that list. He’s an inspiration to us all.”
