Whitehead Joins DigitasLBi as Design Director

Global marketing and technology agency DigitasLBi has further strengthened its creative offering with the appointment of Daniel Whitehead as Design Director.

Whitehead joins from the interactive design consultancy Less Rain, where he was Head of Design, developing user experiences for brands such as Sony and Victorinox. Previously, he has held roles at a number of major digital agencies, including AKQA, Dare, R/GA and SapientNitro.

Whitehead’s appointment reflects DigitasLBi’s continued commitment to hiring the industry’s best talent, in order to help transform brands for the digital age.

At DigitasLBi, Whitehead will report in to Creative Director Julian Cross. He will help oversee the agency’s creative output and maintain high standards of design across all client work.

Daniel Whitehead, Design Director at DigitasLBi said: “I was attracted to DigitasLBi because of its unique culture and creative track-record, as well as the obvious desire to make exceptional things. I’m looking forward to championing innovative design thinking as part of the agency’s blended offering.”

Simon Gill, Executive Creative Director at DigitasLBi said: “We’re well chuffed to welcome Daniel to DigitasLBi. His experience of delivering design excellence for big brands like Sony makes him a great addition to the team.”
