whiteGREY today announces the expansion of its creative department with the appointment of Izzi McGrath, art director and Madeline Catanese, copywriter.
Both Izzi and Madeline are graduates from AWARD School and join whiteGREY from creative agency, The Royals, where they created impactful work including Clementine Ford’s response to the milkshake consent ad and campaigns for Wild Secrets, Australian Super and Bakers Delight.
Madeline previously spent three years The Shannon Company, where she became the lead day-to-day client contact for the likes of VicHealth, Slater + Gordon, Sustainability Victoria and Industry SuperFunds. Prior to this, she studied Professional Communications at RMIT.
Izzi has experience working at Clemenger BBDO Wellington and CHE Proximity. She was also previously nominated RMIT’s student representative for AGDA and was the first University student from a Creative field to ever be awarded the Mitsui Educational Foundation Scholarship. This saw her travel to Japan to learn about the country's history, business, industry, contemporary and traditional culture, and relationship with Australia.
Commenting on the appointment, Chad Mackenzie, chief creative officer at whiteGREY, says: “We’re over the moon that Izzi and Mads have decided to join the whiteGREY team. They bring the level of creative passion and human insight that makes for great work, as well as the energy and spirit that define great creative departments. I can’t wait to see what wonderful things they add to our creative offering.”
Joe Hill, executive creative director, added: “Izzi and Mads combine an engaged, contemporary outlook with a knack for cutting to the quick of things, to create work that has a positive impact on brands and culture. They are a talented team we are very proud to welcome aboard.”
