ASUS and SuperHeroes New York team up with YouTube star Mac Lethal

Taipei/New York, April 19th 2016 - The low battery alert. It's a sound that pumps the brakes on weekend plans, brings business to a standstill and can even spark a mini meltdown. If you’re not lucky enough to have your phone’s charger handy, speeding everything up before your phone dies might be your best hope... But what happens when a speed rapper gets low battery?

In the new global ASUS film ‘Low battery vs Speed Rapper’ from international creative outfit SuperHeroes New York, the brand turns to lightning fast lyricist and YouTube star Mac Lethal to humorously demonstrate what happens when your phone wants to quit before you do. The film uses a hidden camera set-up, and puts Mac Lethal in a number of locations to film the genuine reactions of people overhearing his impossibly fast low battery conversations.

‘Low battery vs. Speed Rapper’ is the first in a series of films to promote the battery excellent ASUS ZenFone Max. The ZenFone Max is the authority when it comes to battery life, as it comes loaded with a generous 5,000 mAh cell that puts up futuristic battery stats. Namely, the ZenFone Max’s ability to last 38 days on a single charge, and capacity to act as a power bank to charge other devices. Rest assured, if you start speed rapping like Mac Lethal, it won’t be because you have low battery.
