Influencer marketing agency Whalar has announced that it named Lindsay Fultz as SVP, brand partnerships. Fultz, a longtime influencer industry leader, will work with brands to develop strategic marketing influencer programs powered by creative solutions leveraging talented and diverse content creators. Fultz will be based in Los Angeles and work across Whalar’s client portfolio.

With deep experience leading marketing, brand and talent relations at some of the influencer industry’s best-known early start-ups, Fultz was instrumental in the launch and global expansion of theAmplify, where as vice president, global brand partnerships and strategy, she took the influencer marketing service from a team of four to four offices worldwide - Los Angeles, New York, London and Paris - and teams in over 15 markets around the world following its acquisition in 2016 by brand technology company You & Mr Jones.

Fultz has led influencer marketing strategy and creator program executions for some of the top brands and movie studios in the world such as Axe’s 'Instagroom' series rebranding campaign featuring 30 male influencers tackling hair care challenges, the launch of world’s first influencer chatbot in partnerships with COVERGIRL, Automat and Kalani Hiliker, and programs for Taco Bell, Ford, Lionsgate, Post Cereals, and PepsiCo. She most recently worked as a consultant and advisor to DTC and early-stage startup brands navigating the influencer marketing space. A national public speaker on influencer marketing, she is also on the board of Women In Influencer Marketing (WIIM).

“Having Lindsay on board with Whalar will continue to up-level the strategic value we offer our clients. As brands increasingly turn to influencer marketing to develop authentic and engaging creative campaigns at scale, Lindsay’s deep experience working with both brands and creators will help our clients continue to develop effective work that breaks through,” said Neil Waller, co-founder and CEO, Whalar.

“I’m thrilled to be joining the team at Whalar. Innovation and humanity are at the core of Whalar’s culture, and I’m excited by the opportunity to leverage technology and creativity to solve brands’ biggest marketing challenges”, added Fultz.

Fultz is the latest high-profile hire for the growing influencer marketing agency. In February, Whalar named AT&T and Target veteran Karyn Spencer as SVP, partnerships, charged with building out the agency’s relationships with both brands and creators. Spencer and Fultz will partner on client solutions going forward.
