Wes Williams Joins Lucky Post

Lucky Post is excited to announce that it has signed editor Wes Williams to its growing talent roster, which includes Editor Sai Selvarajan, Sound Designer Scottie Richardson and VFX via Brian Boungiorno’s Tone Visuals. 

 

“We are so excited to have Wes join us at Lucky Post,” says Lucky Post EP Jessica Berry. “He has a great sense of humor which is reflected in his editing. He is a very positive person to be around and his creative energy is contagious.”

 

Berry first met Williams when he was assistant editor on Director Jeff Bednarz’ award-winning short documentary “Take Me To The Water.” Williams, who has known fellow editor Sai Selvarajan since collage, worked freelance at Lucky Post when the company opened editing Vlingo for Directorz’ David Wild among other projects. The campaign is just one project that deftly showcases Williams’ natural talent and passion for comedy editing. 

 

“I’ve edited projects in every genre, but especially love comedy because when it is done well it is rooted in truth,” says Williams. “With any project, editing is timing and pacing, but also about finding authenticity and coming to the collaboration with a voice. Sincerity, even in comedy, plays an important part.”
