Global social media agency We Are Social has created a Christmas campaign for F&F centred around a new Facebook app, ‘shapewear secrets’. F&F clothing is available exclusively at Tesco.
The campaign, which runs until November 18th, has been created to raise awareness of the F&F shapewear range in the run up to the Christmas party season. It will also promote engagement between Facebook fans and the brand, as well as encouraging users to share their experiences of F&F clothing with friends.
We Are Social has created the shapewear secrets app to allow fans to share their style confessions – lengths at which people have gone to in order to get ready for Christmas parties; and their secret weapons – tips from users about their go-to item of shapewear that never fails to boost their party confidence. The app also allows fans to post any shapewear related questions, a selection of which will be answered by an expert from F&F on the company’s LifeStyled blog.
Each fan who shares their experience or question is entered into a draw to win one of six prizes of four £75 vouchers – one for themselves and three for their friends, which can be used to stock up on shapewear and party outfits for the festive season. The best two stories and best two tips will win, along with two people chosen at random who have posted questions to the expert.
Emily Shamma, Tesco’s director for F&F online, said: “Shapewear is synonymous with the festive party season so the campaign is ideal for bringing together our target audience. We’re looking forward to generating some lighthearted and engaging conversations as well as providing some really useful tips and advice to see our fans into the party season.”
Deola Laniyan, account director at We Are Social, said: “This was a really fun campaign to create. It was built around that fact that everyone has an embarrassing story or a go-to tip, and of course, everyone else wants to hear them. F&F experts have years of expertise when it comes to dressing to impress so I’m sure Facebook users everywhere are going to benefit from their advice – we’re going to see some well dressed people around the UK this Christmas!”
