Global social media agency We Are Social has appointed JWT’s Mobbie Nazir as chief strategy officer in its London headquarters.
In this new role for the agency, Mobbie will be engaged across a range of We Are Social’s global clients. She will also be responsible for the strategic model for global client relationships as well as driving thought leadership across the agency.
At JWT Mobbie was head of digital strategy, responsible for leading and growing digital planning for the agency’s client base. She worked across global clients including Unilever, HSBC and Shell, as well as leading Nestlé’s global and UK digital planning activity. She also played a significant role in JWT’s growth strategy by leading new business pitches and helping drive organic growth amongst the agency’s existing above the line client portfolio.
Before her three years at JWT, Mobbie was managing partner, digital at Fishburn Hedges Group. Here, she grew and developed the agency’s digital and social media offering alongside traditional PR services. She has also previously held the positions of head of planning at MRM Worldwide, business director at Wunderman Interactive, and marketing director at Digitas.
