Global social media agency We Are Social and F&F Clothing will launch a cross-platform social media campaign this week to celebrate the first ever British Plus Size Fashion Weekend (BPSFW).
The campaign, which will incorporate blogger engagement, Twitter activations and Facebook content, aims to drive awareness of F&F’s clothing offering for women of all shapes and sizes. It will tap into the social media buzz around BPSFW and celebrate plus size fashion, promoting the motto ‘Feel Fabulous with F&F’.
To launch the campaign, F&F and We Are Social have invited three influential plus size fashion bloggers to become roving reporters for F&F at BPSFW, which kicks off on Friday. The bloggers will be provided with an F&F new season outfit to wear during the event to show off styles from its latest collection. Bloggers will report their experiences at the show back to their readers as well as providing guest posts for the F&F Lifestyled blog.
On the F&F Facebook page, fans will be able to see top fashion picks from the bloggers and the F&F team from BPSFW, which will also be shared on the F&F Lifestyled blog. There will also be a Feel Good Friday feature with top tips for ‘feeling fabulous’ sourced from fans, influencers and the F&F team and celebrity style features.
F&F, who caters for women up to size 28 within its ‘True’ collection, will also be running Twitter activity over the course of BPSFW, inviting its followers to share a tweet about which outfit or item of clothing makes them feel fabulous, using the hashtag #FeelFabulous. F&F will select the three best tweets every day, with winners each receiving a £25 F&F voucher.
