WE ARE Pi Scoops Silver at the Ad Age Small Agency of the Year Awards

Amsterdam-based Ideas Company WE ARE Pi has won a silver award for their Desperados Bass Drop campaign in the Digital Campaign of the Year category. The prize was awarded at the Ad Age Small Agency Awards last night.

The awards gives the agency international recognition for their digital work, as the global lead creative partner for Heineken’s tequila-flavoured beer. The campaign sent a few lucky winners to the skies above Las Vegas to party in a zero gravity plane that had been transformed into a club. When the DJ dropped the bass, the pilot dropped the dance floor, sending the crowd floating in zero gravity.

2017 has been a big year for the agency marked by the opening of Pi Studios, a new hybrid model that connects the dots between brands, broadcasters and digital publishers to create premium entertainment franchises, shows and media partnerships.

Each year, the Ad Age Small Agency Awards uncover and honour small, independent agencies that are producing innovative and exciting work. These teams strategise and execute groundbreaking ideas to compete with work done by some of advertising's oldest, largest, and most sought-after partners.
