Creative insight-led service design consultancy, we are experience (formerly we are:london), is delighted to announce the appointment of Jake Dyer to the new role of Director of Strategy & Insight. He joins the we are experience senior management and leadership team from LBi where he was most recently the Head of Creative Strategy.
Dyer started his career in marketing services before moving agency side to Omnicom TBWA \GGT and then Tequila. In 2006, he took charge of the Strategy and Planning departments at another Omnicom company - the full service digital agency Agency.com. Under his strategic remit they developed award winning campaigns such as the integrated ‘Robots’ campaign for IKEA kitchens across digital, outdoor and print channels. This was particularly significant as it was the first time that a rostered digital agency had taken the lead role in developing the strategy and the creative for a multi-touch campaign. It also underpinned the agency winning the Revolution Awards Agency of the Year in 2007.
In 2009 Dyer then moved on to LBi, the UK’s largest full service Digital agency. The role quickly developed from Planning Partner to UK Head of Planning. In 2011, building on his success in developing insight-led digital strategies he was appointed Head of the Planning, Business Consultancy and Media Strategy departments with the remit of developing and integrating a blended strategy offering. In his final role as Head of Creative Strategy he continued to channel his expertise for clients including Compare the Market, BT, Capital One and Honda Europe.
Commenting on his move to we are experience, Dyer says: “Having developed the company’s new ‘Think Big, Act Small’ value proposition I am looking forward to embedding this both internally and externally with our clients. I’m excited by the opportunities we have in the growing service design arena and playing an integral role in the direction, management and future success of we are experience.”
