We Are Covert Announces Partnership with Dan Moran Colour

Covert announces a partnership with the innovative colourist team at Dan Moran Colour (DMC).

Dan’s career spans over 15 years, from being a junior to a senior colourist at Tag (Smoke & Mirrors), to now being an established freelance colourist. With an initial interest in photography, his outstanding eye for beautiful imagery led him to find his passion for colour, and his enthusiasm for creativity has allowed him to hone his craft and become a master of the medium. During his career, he has trained users in Resolve 8, built up the grading team at Coffee and TV and has an impressive list of brands he has worked with including Nike, Netflix, Ikea and Adidas.  

He is now based in Bristol with his own Baselight HDR grading studio whilst also running a complete remote setup which can plug into Covert’s unique remote pipeline, creating an intrinsically seamless approach. In February he was joined with rising colourist Cam Sander, and the team have been building momentum with recent work for brands Kleenex, L’Occitane and Talisker.

Dan comments, “it’s super exciting to join Covert and their team of talented artists; I have huge respect for the work they produce and think together we can really create some impressive spots.”

Dan’s focus on creativity reflects the ethos at Covert, and his ideologies mean that the partnership felt natural. Both Covert and DMC believe that a broadening of the creative team will mean that they can offer clients a full in-house production service creating work that can rival the big post-production houses.
