Dino Burbidge leaves role at Mind Candy, the creators of Moshi Monsters

WCRS Appoints Director of Technology and Innovation

WCRS has appointed Dino Burbidge in the newly created role of Director of Technology and Innovation.

Dino has over 20 years’ experience in the digital and technology industry – working in a wide range of roles including creative director, innovation director, games maker and digital consultant – and joins WCRS from entertainment company, Mind Candy (the creators of Moshi Monsters), where he held a dual creative and marketing role.

Dino will oversee the agency’s creative technology department, reporting into Managing Partner Tom Crossley, with responsibility for driving WCRS’s creative product from a digital and tech perspective.

Ross Neil, Creative Director of WCRS, said: “Good ideas can live anywhere – it’s up to us to elevate them to the best platform to reach the widest audience in a form people really care about. And with the technological expertise Dino brings, we are now in an even better position to do this.”

Tom Crossley, Managing Partner, WCRS said:  “WCRS is already delivering stand out technology-driven work, such as our 3D Women’s Aid cinema ad, and with Dino at the helm we will be pushing our product even further. Dino has delivered exceptional work for some of the biggest and best brands in the world, and I look forward to seeing him impact on our creative work over the next few months.”

WCRS has recently won a number of accolades for work in digital and technology including a REV Award for digital innovation, two BIMAs (British Interactive Media Awards) including the ‘Minor Miracle’ award, Creative Circle Gold for Best Use of New Technology, and Webby Awards 2014 Official Honouree.
