Michael Tan has joined Wavemaker Malaysia as the new managing director.
Michael is an award-winning integrated marketing communications brand activation and marketing specialist with an extensive regional wide experience and knowledge. He has over 20 years of work experience in both agencies and brands (FMCG, Luxury, Tobacco & Spirits, Finance, and Hospitality) alike.
His achievements include delivering award winning campaigns for brands, including P&G’s coveted President’s Award for the most outstanding integrated campaign globally and global recognition with an award for Best Shopper Based Design.
Clients in his portfolio are P&G, Colgate Palmolive, Fonterra Brands, Mondelez, BAT, Diageo Brands, Coca Cola, Asia Pacific Breweries, Lenovo, Tan Chong International and retailers such as Parkson, Sogo, Walmart, Tesco, and Carrefour.
