Wavemaker launched the Eurosong radio station, solely dedicated to Eurovision music

One of biggest events to be cancelled during the pandemic was Eurovision. Watched by over 180M people, Wavemaker's client Netflix picked up the distribution rights to Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga. Wavemaker's brief was to launch the movie and create big, bold PR.

Netflix has historically dismissed radio, but with listeners at an all-time high, it was the time to provoke our client into thinking again.

Wavemaker created Magic: Eurosong, a pop-up radio station dedicated to Eurovision music. For 10 days, it played winning Eurovision songs and all the eccentric acts that make the contest so beloved.
