Walmart Canada has released an action-packed new film about the struggles of motherhood. 

Directed by Mark Zibert, 'An Ode to Motherhood' is a madcap sequence of larger-than-life scenes shows one mother struggling with the seemingly endless list of challenges that becoming a parent throws at you, positioning Walmart as the answer.

Mark says: "When I first read the script it was hard to believe that this was sold through to a typically conservative client. After a few meetings and conference calls, it was clear that the script itself was a starting point and everyone was on board to push the idea and make something truly unique, especially for a brand like Walmart.

“The story has countless layers which demanded extensive planning. We storyboarded and paper cut on a few occasions throughout the production. As we shot we learned some things worked better than others and rewrote scenes as needed. The entire process was massively collaborative and organic."
