As part of a continuing drive to extend its focus beyond London, WACL is hosting a lunch event in Liverpool on Tuesday 29th November.

The event will feature a strong line-up of some of WACL’s most senior members, including president Rania Robinson, CEO of Quiet Storm. Its focus will be on “The Pursuit of Bravery – Lessons in Resilience, Tenacity and Courage in a Turbulent and Volatile World.”

Rania will be joined by Lucie Cave, broadcaster and chief content officer of Bauer Media; Stephanie Hughes, director of marketing at Everton FC; Susi Castle, head of marketing at Open Media; and Claire McColgan CBE, director of culture Liverpool. The host is Dawn Paine, CEO & co-founder of Liverpool-based global creative experience agency Aurora.

Held at the city’s most iconic landmark, The Royal Liver Building, WACL’s event will begin with a light networking lunch, an introduction to WACL by Rania Robinson and will then move into a panel discussion, followed by a lively Q&A.

Dawn Paine said: “The key messages are around female bravery in a volatile world – and never has this been more resonant. And of course, regionally, there is something very powerful that we will explore around what the specifically Liverpool version of bravery looks like – being something of a maverick and the same time purposeful and always striving for social justice.”

The Liverpool event aligns to WACL’s drive for a stronger social inclusivity and its ambition to support upcoming talent in parts of the country that need it most. This session follows on from the event WACL held in Manchester in June, which focused on the next generation of female talent.

Tickets are £30 per person for corporate attendees and £15 for NFPs and Sole Traders.
