Volvic is launching a social media search for talented bloggers, photographers and social media addicts to form ‘Team Volcanicity’ and represent the brand online.
The natural mineral water brand will dish out once in a lifetime experiences and provide access to some of the UK’s most exciting events and activities of 2013 to the winners of its
Facebook competition, which launches today.
To enter, Volvic Facebook fans will be asked to submit a photo which they feel most strongly expresses Volcanicity. Votes will then open to thepublic online.
The project was created by Volvic HQ and social media agency We Are Social in a bid to bring the concept of Volcanicity to life.
Jon Marchant, Volvic brand manager said: “Our Facebook fans are bursting with Volcanicity. They live life to the full, embrace nature and have a real sense of adventure – so we are really excited to give them the chance to represent the brand. This is the first time we’ve reached out to our fans in this way and we can’t wait to see what explosive ideas they are going to come up with!”
Deola Laniyan, account director at We Are Social said: “Facebook is pushing brands to deliver content that’s as relevant as the status updates you see from your friends. This campaign gives Volvic fans the chance to express what Volcanicity means to them through quality user-generated content. Ultimately, the fans will become our Community Managers meaning the content that’s posted is much more likely to resonate with their peers and drive engagement.”
To kick start the competition Volvic will reveal a dynamic selection of the UK’s leading bloggers who will set the tone for Team Volcanicity and form the judging panel for the ultimate team.
Each winning member of Team Volcanicity will be given a state of the art camera as well as some incredible Volcanicity related experiences, which will be revealed online in the coming months.
