adam&eveDDB has won the advertising business for Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles UK following a competitive pitch against three agencies, including incumbent agency BBH. adam&eveDDB previously handled the account five years ago.
The review of the multi million pound account is part of a significant shift in marketing strategy for the business, which aims to build on its strong heritage and increase differentiation with competitor brands.
adam&eveDDB, has created a new brand platform, which will place greater focus on services and mobility for its leisure and fleet customers. It’s designed to reflect the unique marriage of function and emotion which the vehicles represent to their owners. A holistic, year-long plan launches soon with a firm focus on real owners, using social platforms alongside other channels. .
The new brand platform comes as Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles UK prepares to expand its existing product range with the launch of a seven-seat version of the award-winning ID. Buzz in late 2024 and the launch of the new Transporter range in the coming years.
