Film 'New Ways' launches with RadicalMedia’s Jonas Hegi and Julien Simshauser (Jonas&Julien) as directors. The four-part film depicts Swedish choreographer Benjamin Milan and his journey in the ballroom scene. Milan reflects on how ‘Voguing’ has helped him on his path to self-acceptance, self-expression and to find a community that welcomes and understands him.

The video “New Ways” is not only about only self-expression, but also deeper respect for the LGBTQ+ community, ethnic minorities, and other marginalised people. Hegi says: “For me, it was important to create an artistic and emotional portrait that talks about ballroom on a personal level while being respectful to its community. The four chapters are poetic and surreal interpretations of different stages of Benjamin’s life.”
