New regional technology development centre to provide CX support to key clientele

VMLY&R has announced a strategic partnership with Shanghai-based technology firm, Loncus Network Technology Company, for the creation of a new technology hub to support the agency’s growing experience and technology work with global and regional clients.

The new technology development centre opened in July 2022 and is already servicing the agency’s network clients across the Asia-Pacific region, including Caltex, Ford and LeonCycle. Based in Nanjing, China, the new hub will allow Loncus to ramp up its services, offering through positions spanning CX development, maintenance, and publishing to further support clients.

VMLY&R has worked closely with Loncus for several years and, via the new hub, aims to take delivery power and scale to new heights while offering services and solutions to clients in China and across the world.

Commenting on the strategic partnership with Loncus, Yi Chung Tay, CEO for VMLY&R in Asia, said: “This is a great opportunity to take our CX capabilities to the next level in China, allowing us to leverage existing talent and expertise to enhance our support for network clients across the region and globe. Loncus has a proven track record of delivering outstanding work for our clients, and I look forward to scaling up our offering via this partnership.”

Loncus Network Technology Company founder and CEO, Chen Liang, said: “Since its establishment, Loncus has contributed to a competitive landscape in Marketing Technology across China and beyond. Our partnership with VMLY&R has driven remarkable results for key clients and projects, and I am excited for the potential this new venture brings.  With a dedicated tech hub, we will be able to scale up and offer a wider range of services and quicker delivery, allowing for faster, more scalable growth.”
