The momentum at VMLY&R Melbourne continues, following the agency’s appointment of highly awarded creative director Robyn Bergmann. Bergmann will partner with James Wills, who was recently promoted to Creative Director following success at international award shows and playing a leading role in new business wins.
Paul Nagy, chief creative officer, VMLY&R AUNZ, said with a fully integrated digital and creative offering at the core of VMLY&R’s proposition, it was an exciting time to bring two people together with such complementary talents to VMLY&R Melbourne’s creative team.
Paul said: “We continue to build VMLY&R Melbourne around the very best talent. Robyn brings a wealth of experience to our team and clients, while James has an exceptional track record of brilliant creative work here already. I’m excited to say it’s shaping up to be a very big year at VMLY&R Melbourne.”
Previously with Ogilvy Johannesburg, Bergmann brings over two decades of experience working with some of the world’s best talent at South Africa’s most iconic agencies and has won at every major global awards show. She has worked on brands including Audi, Siemens, Unilever, Ponds, Coca-Cola, Philips and Cadbury, and in recent years has been running the KFC account in South Africa.
Robyn said, “I’m excited to be joining an agency of this calibre that is bursting with energy and talent. I can’t wait to get to know the growing list of VMLY&R clients and make some exceptional work.”
Aden Hepburn, joint CEO VMLY&R said “I’m thrilled for Melbourne’s team as we start 2019 and welcome Robyn to the group. Together Robyn and James will harness the best of the agency’s creative talent to form a formidable team and deliver world-class work for Melbourne’s clients.”
Pete Bosilkovski, joint CEO VMLY&R added: “The landscape of our industry is changing rapidly, and we need the very best talent in order to be committed and invaluable partners to our clients. I look forward to supporting this team in its development and watching them produce great work for their clients.”
