VMLY&R COMMERCE Wins Big at The Drum Awards for Digital Industries

Takes home 17 Shortlists, three Wins, three Highly Commended, one Grand Prix nomination

VMLY&R COMMERCE had remarkable success at the 2021 Drum Awards for Digital Industries landing as the second most-awarded agency with three wins, three highly commended and one Grand Prix nomination across multiple categories. 

This global competition, formerly known as the DADIs, has been regarded as the effectiveness awards for the digital industry since 2016.  With categories devoted to artificial intelligence and machine learning, augmented and virtual reality, and to the use of data and search, the awards recognize the companies using digital media and technology to power the world's most effective campaigns.    

The campaign winners included Elena’s ‘Adios Amor Adios’ Heartbreak Ice Cream, a creative collaboration between VMLY&R COMMERCE Mexico and North America in the Retail category, and the World Women’s Foundation’s highly acclaimed World Woman Hour global campaign for Most Effective Use of Video, also named a Grand Prix nominee.  The agency also received Highly Commended status for its work on Argentina’s FlyBondi ‘Save Your Destination’ campaign in the Travel, Leisure, Tourism category, Elena’s Heartbreak Ice Cream in the Consumer Products or Services category, and World Woman Hour in the Not for Profit category. 

Further recognition came for VMLY&R COMMERCE UK who received the much-coveted award of Diversity & Inclusion Company of the Year for its unwavering support and championing of diversity and inclusion.
