VMLY&R COMMERCE Wins at 2021 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity

VMLY&R COMMERCE took home two coveted Lions at the 2021 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity – Silver for the UK’s Bootiques in Creative eCommerce and Bronze for India’s Hackwashing in Health & Wellness.

Our work across the creative commerce landscape is only becoming more visible and valuable in driving meaningful evolution across our new unified landscape.”

VMLY&R COMMERCE UK won a Silver Lion in the Creative eCommerce category for their Bootiques campaign in partnership with Boots and Ogilvy UK. The Bootiques is a highly-targeted, data-based, disruptive shoppable experiences that curated bespoke product ranges to answer every gifting problem, no matter how niche.  This work turned every single asset created into its own shoppable Bootique to create a multichannel experience across a combination of digital, social and physical commerce.

The VMLY&R COMMERCE ENCOMPASS team earned a Bronze Lion in the Health & Wellness category for Lifebuoy’s Hackwashing. The Hackwashing campaign promotes a wearable ink made of Lifebuoy formula, which turns into antibacterial soap on coming in contact with water. Just by stamping people’s hands, VMLY&R COMMERCE ENCOMPASS and Lifebuoy ensured they also use germ-killing soap every time they rinse their hands with water.

VMLY&R COMMERCE teams from Argentina, the United Kingdom and India contributed to the 13 campaigns that earned Shortlist for work done on behalf of clients and partners including Unilever, Volkswagen and Boots UK.

VMLY&R’s global network was collectively awarded one Grand Prix, five Gold, seven Silver, 19 Bronze Lions and 79 Shortlists.
