VMLY&R COMMERCE UK landed Platinum in the IPA Continuous Professional Development Awards.
For the past three years VMLY&R COMMERCE, has achieved IPA CPD Gold Accreditation. This year the agency has won a fourth consecutive Gold, in recognition of the learning and development created and delivered by the People Team throughout 2021.
In addition, the company has won Platinum Accreditation for continued CPD excellence – by earning CPD Gold four times over a five-year period – the mark of a sustained exceptional professional development program.
Abba Newbery, chief marketing officer, Habito and chair of judges for CPD Gold 2021, remarked: “Anyone achieving Gold has not only produced and delivered an incredible CPD programme, but also an incredible business case, clearly demonstrating the value of a commitment to people in making a successful business for the future.”
The submission process is robust: year-long reporting on impact across all talent initiatives linking the programme to business success. From Industry qualifications, structured learning courses, wellbeing initiatives to 1: 1 coaching and leadership development. A huge task, especially in the face of continued challenges from the pandemic.
VMLY&R COMMERCE UK CEO Michelle Whelan commented: “The accreditation is a wonderful celebration of the passion, innovation, and unwavering commitment by Kate Scott, Hannah Wilson, Emily Agg and Elke Van Tienen over the past 12 months. It’s one of the highest accolades in our business -spotlighting our success as a centre of excellence.”
VMLY&R COMMERCE UK has been called out by the IPA for its “comprehensive commitment to developing future leaders, and innovative approach to retention and engagement”. Last year the agency was named Diversity & Inclusion Company of the Year by The Drum.
