Agency holds luncheon and creates mad-libs style cards that have gone to all 33 global offices

VML Pushes #PressForProgress for IWD 2018

As the 2018 IWD theme was #PressForProgress VML London wanted to be sure what they did was along the theme, and show how the agency plans on ‘Pressing for Progress’,

A luncheon was held for the whole agency, female and male, everybody was asked to come armed with an answer to the question ‘What is the biggest issue facing Women inside the industry today and outside the industry?’ The team collected the thoughts onto a designed wall then took an afternoon session with the whole agency brainstorming ways to #PressForProgress based on the initial issues raised.

Portraits of individuals were taken and shared out on social highlighting the importance of #PressForProgress.

The agency also designed mad-libs style cards that have gone to all 33 global offices. VMLers can write positive notes to the women at VML they work with and admire. The mad-libs style will allow people to personalise the cards without the pressure of a long message.

VMLers can also go to the microsite and a snpachat filter at to see the story that inspired the cards and to send the cards electronically!
