Visual Director Thuy Vy Joins The Producers

Director Thuy Vy has joined The Producers. Thuy made a name for himself last year when a short film he made was chosen as one of the Fabulous Four for AdFest, then won the audience award and later on earned him a shortlisting for the Young Director Award at Cannes.

Now he’s bringing those creds to The Producers as the latest director/DOP to join its growing stable.

Thuy has been in the industry for a number of years, originally coming from a photographic background. His past experience has endowed him with a powerful aesthetic style whereby the distinct imagery he creates results in some beautiful atmospheric looks. The discipline of still photography taught him the value of perfect framing, light and environment which has helped him develop a film visual style that genuinely commands attention.

Says Victoria Conners, EP, The Producers: “Thuy has the type of talent that we love to harness and nurture at The Producers. We will be celebrating the release of Thuy’s latest music video with a live performance by Nick Batterham and exhibition of Thuy’s photography at The studio space 30 Easey Street Collingwood on the 31st of May. We’re very excited to share and celebrate Thuy’s work.”
