Host has been selected to develop campaigns that drive visitation to the US state following a competitive pitch.
Says David Mering, founder and CEO, MeringCarson, global agency of record for Visit California, who led the pitch process: "We had a great feel for Host from the outset. More than 1m Australians holiday in the USA every year, with California being the most popular state for them to visit. Despite its comparatively small population, Australia is the country's 10th largest tourism market.
