VIRTUE Wins Best of Discipline and Eight Additional Pencils at The One Show 2019

VIRTUE, the agency born from VICE, took home a total of ten Pencils at The One Show 2019. The agency won nine for its adDRESS_THE_FUTURE work with Scandinavian retailer Carlings including a Best of Discipline, and one for its Las Vegas Love Stories campaign for Vegas hotel, Park MGM. 

Carlings teamed up with VIRTUE to challenge the environmental impact of the fashion industry by launching adDRESS_THE_FUTURE - the world’s first purely digital fashion collection. The collection was sold out within one week and the work was featured in key media outlets globally.

The breakdown of awards won by VIRTUE for adDRESS_THE_FUTURE is as follows:

With fast fashion being a huge polluter it was an incredibly exciting challenge for us to look at more sustainable ways of creating clothing. Together with Carlings we were able to inspire the industry towards a more sustainable future. Winning big at the One Show awards underlines this even more and makes me incredibly proud. Due to the success and importance of this campaign we are determined to launch the second part later this year. Without giving away too much we are confident that this will be even more bold and impactful.”

Additionally, VIRTUE took home a Bronze Pencil in Short Form Video | Campaign, Series, Episodic for its work with Park MGM for Las Vegas Love Stories; a series of 8.2 second long love stories directed by Michel Gondry.
