Virtual Production Facility VuFinder Studios Launches in Heart of Warsaw

Virtual production facility VuFinder Studios today announces its launch in downtown Warsaw, bolstered by an internal team Unreal artists - a unique offering amongst its competitors.

Part of OTO Group, the studio’s first productions were done as OTO Film before breaking off separately, transferring some experts and experience to the newly established company.

The future-facing facility is equipped with the latest technology to build a versatile, immersive performance stage that blends the physical and virtual world. Powered by Unreal Engine 5, 3D environments can be interactively displayed on over 800m² of fully modular LED volumes in real-time, complemented by state-of-the-art camera tracking technology, advanced graphics servers, and 600m² or 1200m² studio options.

Working with VuFinder Studios offers a number of advantages, from easy location changes and a reduced carbon footprint, to less post production and enhanced adjustability. What used to require extensive location shoots, expensive set design and construction, and exorbitant special effects production can now be done in the comfort of the Warsaw studio.

Launching with a bang, VuFinder Studios has gained experience by already hosting over 20 commercials, totalling more than 49 shooting days. A number of campaigns have also been successfully released for brands such as BMW, Veet, Calgon, Vanish, and Cillit Bang, for international markets spanning the US, Europe, and Australia, with international directors and DPs.

VuFinder Studios will be spearheaded by CEO and EP Łukasz Tomasz Koltunowicz, who boasts 16 years of experience in the film industry, alongside client director Melania Kulczycka, who has managed various projects and worked with virtual simulations for the Ministry of Defence. 

In addition to crafting a vision for the company and bringing on new clients, the management duo is leading an in-house stellar team of Unreal artists, VP supervisors, producers and technical support. The diverse crew of experts is backed by experience in virtual production, film production, game development, and virtual reality.
