After a busy year of team expansion and launching their first office in Berlin with Executive Producer of Music Ben Esser at the helm; music and sound agency Pitch & Sync have also welcomed Victoria Poole as their new Managing Director across their London, Berlin and Amsterdam operations.
Victoria joins P&S after working for over a decade in advertising, including five years as Head of Marketing & PR at The Mill, as well as roles at AMV BBDO, Saatchi & Saatchi and BrandOpus, bringing with her a wealth of industry experience, brand strategy and key relationships to help bolster the growing team.
Her extensive experience is paramount to Pitch & Sync as they continue onward into their second decade in pursuit of exciting and innovative music, work and collaborations.
With studios based in London, Berlin and Amsterdam, Pitch & Sync put music to work to enhance creative storytelling; working closely with advertising agencies, production and post production houses, editorial studios, brands and emerging technology artists.
In the 10 years since launching, Pitch & Sync have worked consistently on global campaigns providing music searches, composition, sound design, audio branding and licensing services for many of the world’s biggest brands as well as smaller innovative start-ups.
From a single track to global presence curation, Pitch & Sync will find, or create, the sound of a brand - the right music is an incomparably powerful way to connect with an audience. Great music, of limitless genres, is a shared passion across all the studios. Actually, it’s more than that - it is an illogical obsession. Nurturing new artists and cultural tastemakers is of paramount importance, and keeps Pitch & Sync ahead of the pack.
Victoria commented, “The opportunity to work alongside people I’ve known very well over the years and really respect, taking a smaller offering with such a clear creative vision, quirky talent and strong reputation and then shaping it into a next generation music and sound agency was unmissable. Pitch & Sync is a brave agency that works closely with a myriad of the obscure and underground talent that channels music from all over the world. With our trio of studios being located in the most musically forward cities in the world, we are poised to remain ahead. Way ahead.
"This next chapter for Pitch & Sync sees us prioritise our musical craft, making it the best it can be. And it is all about our client relationships, without whom we would be nothing. We are focused on being the best musical partners to agencies, production companies, brands, emerging tech companies and beyond to create culturally memorable and impactful work."
The Pitch & Sync team have an insatiable appetite for the interesting and innovative, and in turn also curate original music for events and activations. In December last year, they curated the Wieden+Kennedy Christmas Festival, a two week festival of live music performances on their very own bespoke 10 Octave piano. After that they kicked off 2018 with a January Wellness series of Yoga classes complete with bespoke soundtracks hosted by their creative neighbours at D&AD. And it is in this vein that Victoria intends to lead the charge of Pitch & Sync collaborations and events that will channel the highly creative scenes that already exists in all three cities.
Co-Founder and ECD, Alex Lavery commented, “Vic joined our P&S family only three months ago bringing high energy, dedication and passion. A brave leap from the security of The Mill. She’s settled into the role of MD like wearing suitably extravagant slippers. Applying practices from a global production business like The Mill to a nimble business like P&S is already yielding incredible results.”
Co-Founder and Director Simon Robinson added, “We’re excited about growing our European triangle of London, Amsterdam & Berlin under Vic’s sparkling eye with so many exciting activities and new opportunities coming our way. With Vic at the helm, the next ten years of P&S will continue to be an incredible ride and who knows where the P&S triangle will expand to.”
