VCCP has strengthened its senior planning leadership team with the hire of Clare Hutchinson as deputy chief strategy officer. Most recently at Havas as executive strategy director, Clare joins VCCP with immediate effect and will report to chief strategy officer, Michael Lee.
As deputy chief strategy officer Clare’s remit will include the day-to-day running of the Cadbury account as global lead. She will also play a key role in driving the agency’s effectiveness, reputation and awards success alongside supporting their ongoing new business drive.
Clare has carved out a celebrated career working across many pieces of Government business including Tobacco Control Campaign, Think! Road Safety campaign, and most recently the 'Get into Teaching' recruitment campaign. An excellent track record at both independent start-ups and larger networked agencies she also brings strong behavioural change experience.
Prior to Havas, Clare has held roles at 101 as partner and head of planning, WCRS as head of planning and board planner at AMV BBDO, working with clients such as BSkyB, The Economist, BBC, innocent, Pepsi and The Open University.
