VaynerX Names Marc Yudkin as First Global Chief Operating Officer

VaynerX has announced Marc Yudkin as its first ever global chief operating officer, effective immediately. Marc was most recently general counsel - a role he will retain in addition to COO. In his new role, Marc will oversee the operations across all VaynerX companies globally, including VaynerMedia, VaynerProductions, Gallery Media Group, The Sasha Group, Tracer, VaynerSpeakers, and the recently launched, VaynerCommerce and VaynerTalent.

Marc’s appointment is reflective of the ongoing expansion of VaynerX, as the company continues to broaden its global remit and capabilities.  VaynerMedia expanded to the Asia-Pacific region in 2019, and VaynerCommerce and VaynerTalent launched in April 2020 and January 2021, respectively.

“Over the last 18 months, we’ve launched new companies under the VaynerX umbrella and expanded globally. The need for a chief operating officer role to oversee the entire organisation had become increasingly important,” said Gary Vaynerchuk, chairman of VaynerX. “Marc has been an architect of the company for over a decade. During the global pandemic, he took the lead on operations and has been instrumental in its overall success, so this role both makes sense and is well deserved.”

Marc has been with the Vayner family of companies since 2011, joining VaynerMedia as general counsel. In 2020, he was named by his peers and received an Icon award as one of the country’s top corporate counsels. Marc graduated from Emory University School of Law in 2002 and, prior to joining VaynerMedia in 2011, was an attorney at Riker, Danzig, Scherer, Hyland & Perretti, LLP.

Marc will report directly to Gary Vaynerchuk, and will assume his new responsibilities with immediate effect.
