Knucklehead director Siri Bunford has a festive adventure across America in a campaign that takes in snowscapes, cities and deserts
No one should be left behind when it comes to receiving holiday joy. If you live somewhere remote or in a big city, accessible or difficult to get to, the USPS goes the extra mile to make sure your holiday greetings and gifts get to you, no matter where you are.
The latest spot from McCann New York follows the journey of actual USPS carriers making deliveries across the country’s diverse geography and environments. It’s not just snow they take on, but sandy desert, busy urban areas and quiet countrysides. At one point, we even see a carrier traverse the countryside and be greeted by a friendly herd of goats, which of course doesn’t stop the delivery. In each case, we see the journey end at the front doors of happy customers receiving their holiday mail and packages. This is acclaimed by the song “Home for the Holidays,” because (as the seasonal classic reminds us) no matter how far away you roam, when you pine for the sunshine of a friendly gaze, for the holidays, you can’t beat home sweet home.
The spot will run beginning November 4th until December 20th on national broadcast and cable TV, and online video partners. It will also appear on social channels: YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
