UNIT Hires Pete Rypstra as Creative Director of 2D

Independent Post House UNIT forges ahead with its creative expansion and talent drive with the hiring of one of the industry’s most respected VFX artistes, Pete Rypstra, who joins the facility as Creative Director of 2D.

His reputation for creative excellence comes as a result of 18 years working in the industry at post houses including MPC and most recently, The Mill. 

Rypstra has worked with London’s most prestigious agencies including Adam & EveDDB, AMV BBDO and VCCP and with brands extending from EasyJet, Waitrose, VISA and Mercedes to BT, Virgin, EE, Ford and Guinness.

Pete has also collaborated with some of the industry’s finest directors including Martin de Thurah, Traktor, CANADA and Man vs Machine as well Dougal Wilson, Gary Freedman, Nicolai Fuglsig, Guy Manwaring and Simon Ratigan.

On joining UNIT, Pete comments, “I can’t wait to join the team and get stuck in with the work. There’s a real buzz about the new building and it’s great to start at this exciting time”.
