Under Armour Announces Phil Fox as Senior Director of Sales in EMEA

Under Armour, Inc. today announced the appointment of Phil Fox as senior director of Sales, EMEA. With more than 25 years of experience in the sports industry, working with a number of high-profile sports apparel brands in Europe across retail distribution, Account management and strategic planning & direction, Phil brings proven expertise to Under Armour's leadership team in EMEA. He will report directly to the region’s managing director, Massimo Baratto.

As senior director of sales, Phil will take the lead of the wholesale and distributor business across EMEA. His focus will be to further develop a digital first strategy within our existing commercial partners whilst continuing to place the consumer at the heart of the brand’s strategy, authentically connecting with them in new ways.

Under Armour has been going strong over the past few months, with its running and women’s training categories growing rapidly since the Covid-19 outbreak and more recently with the huge success of the UA Sportsmask launch.

Phil started his role in July and joined from VF Corporation, where he had been for over three years as strategic account director and most recently as sales director for the Vans brand in EMEA. Before that, Phil had held various sales management roles at Nike.
